After decades of neglect and vandalism, the remaining seven buildings of the historic Morristown College were purchased by the City of Morristown, TN in hopes of redeveloping the area. Trifecta was contracted by the City to complete the asbestos abatement and demolition of the buildings which included two 4 story dormitories, a gymnasium, a fire damaged 3 story administration building and dining hall, as well as a boiler house. The fire damaged structure contained asbestos and had to be demolished as RACM. At the time of completion, only the original 1920 archways remained in order to be incorporated into a future park.
