The demolition involved the removal of an existing 300,000 SF cast-in-place parking garage situated in the center of North Carolina's largest teaching hospital. As part of the project, there was a need for fiber reinforcement of the existing concrete floor, and a 14,000-pound robot was carefully placed on an elevated floor.
